Zimbra Migration: Frequently Asked Questions
1) How does the cost of Zimbra compare to the existing IMAP system ?
The entry level "basic" pricing for 2-users with 4GB total domain storage is the same as our existing entry level IMAP email platform.
- Basic SMB Account $25/month (includes 2 users, 4GB storage )
includes 10 min of telephone/email support per month. - Normal SMB Account $50/month ( includes 3 users, 8GB storage )
Includes 30 min of telephone / email support per month. - Extra storage: $4 per GB/month
- Extra users: $10/month ( 1GB storage included )
- Zimbra Consulting and Training: $125/hr , 10H block for $1000
- Mailbox restore from backup: $100 ( backups for 30 days )
- Quantity discounts at 10, 25 and 100 users.
2) How safe is my data ?
All data is kept in Class-III secure data-centers. Multiple copies of your emails ( up to 5 backup copies ) are kept for redundancy. Deleted emails can be restored upon request up to 30 days after deletion. Email archiving for legal discovery purposes is available at extra cost.
3) Is my mobile phone supported ?
We support most mobile phones including the iPhone, and Android natively, and almost any phone using the mobile browser support.
4) How can collaborate with others ?
Any of your email folders can be shared with other Zimbra users in your company. You can share read-only, or fully writable copies of your email, as typically used with an Administrative Assistant. You can also share AddressBooks, and Calendars with your co-workers as required.
5) When is the migration scheduled ?

6) How is Migration and Training covered ?
We provide simple data migration to Zimbra at no cost. Zimbra provides on-line training for the Zimbra suite, however to get the most benefit out of Zimbra we recommend a limited training or consulting engagement.
